Lovely early French Poupee clothing set of dark blue silk velvet fitted jacket with matching bonnet from France circa 1860 ...
A pretty set suitable for 17" / 18" ( 44 - 46 cm ) fashion doll included a beautiful hip-length dark blue silk velvet jacket has lovely original black lace decoration and fine hand made silk button with cord closure at front.
Lace collar and cuffs , dark blue silk velvet pockets with taffeta bow at back .. Is complete hand sewn from around 1855/60th. and inside fine lined with red silk.
A cute stiffened oval shaped black velvet bonnet belongs to this set as well , has red silk ruffled row inside the brim and matching ornate outside .Black lace and red silk bow are the finishing touch ... , netting lines inside !
Beautiful two piece set for your early Poupee like Rohmer , Huret , Blampoix or other lovely one in your collection ...
Jacket total length from shoulder to hem .. 10" ( 26 cm ) and shoulder to shoulder at front ... 4,5" ( 12 cm ) Head circumference : circa 5" ( 14 cm )
Good condition to age , not disturbing small silk melting at one shoulder part inside , please see my pictures !
