Lovely 22,5" ( 58 cm ) early paper mache childlike doll from a private family in France called " Emma " , was much loved by her little owner before and so she has played and loved condition with cute facial expression !
Domed paper - mache shoulder head with black painted pate with curled side covered by her original human hair wig . Round head with child like facial expression with strong elongated throat and pupil-less inset enamel eyes . Lightly painted lashes and brows , open mouth with fade accented lips and row of bamboo teeth.
She has an original French kid poupee body with shapely torso , long arms with and separated fingers . Little Emma has played bud not bad condition to age ... note small scratches in her original complexion and her painting is fade from to much kisses from her little owner before ! But has cute complete expression ...
Her body has some kid patches based on her age ... and a finger repair .
She is wearing with her original rich undergarments with stocking and shoes...( this are original not removable from her legs ) ! A nice pink cotton dress with lace decoration and a white cotton apron with matching cap . A rounded straw bonnet complete her lovely complete outfit ...
Emma looks now for a new owner who would love her so as she is ... a cute early doll from around 1840th. and she was a favorite doll from a small French girl in the 19th. century !!
