Lovely 18" 46 cm ) French bisque poupee by Gaultier from around 1870 with her original trunk and extensive trousseau , a rare found of a private familie in south of France
Lovely facial expression bisque swivel head poupee on kid lined bisque shoulder plate , has pretty blue glass enamel inset eyes with dark upper eye liner and fine painted curly lashes . Feathered browns and closed mouth with hint of smile at her shaded lips. Pierced ears and fine blonde mohair wig over cork pate.
On her original kid poupee body with hard to declair green Paris doll boutique mark , has gusset jointing at elbows , hips and knees . Stitched and separate fingers .
The lovely doll has generally excellent condition , free of hairline , chip or damage ... to note one finger repair and a fine factory flaw color line at her back.
