Wonderful French bisque poupee in all original condition about 21" ( 54 cm ) , has unusual facial expression and wearing most beautiful antique silk costume with cape and bonnet .
Unusual facial expression of pale pressed bisque swivel head on bisque shoulder plate with wonderful blue enamel inset glass eyes with thick dark eyeliner and fine painted lashes. Rare modeled upper eye lid and lightly feathered brows . Closed mouth with fine accented pale lips. Inside the head pierced ears and lovely original curled blonde mohair wig over cork pate.
She owns her original French kid poupee body with shapely plump torso , gusset jointing at elbows , hips and knees , stitched and separated fingers and rare toes .The body is near mint to age .... France around 1865/68 ....
Generally excellent condition to age , bisque free of damage ... hairline ... chip or repair . Body is clean and sturdy ....
