Petite size 1 bisque Bebe from Maison Jumeau

9,5" ( 24 cm ) little Mademoiselle by Maison Jumeau size 1 made for Paris department store " Au Bon Marche " from circa 1888th. , has wonderful expression and wearing with original Jumeau couture costume.

Lovely bisque darling has best quality of pale bisque and painting socket head with dramatic large blue glass inset paperweight eyes with fine painted long lashes and feathered brows.

She has on open mouth with row of porcelain teeth between her outlined lips. Pierced ears and pretty original blond mohair wig over cork pate.

Head mark at back : 1 and painter signature L

Has her original French composition and wooden fully jointed body with original body finish and Paris department store label at back .

Wearing wonderful Jumeau couturier dress ( has worn condition ) with bonnet , undergarments with her original stocking and French shoes size 1 .

Very cute and rare to find little girl produced by Maison Jumeau special for the Paris department store and called ~ Bebe Au Bon Marche ~ .
